Recycling and utilization of waste wood furniture materials

The life expectancy of wooden furniture is generally more than 60 years. Due to the changes in furniture functions, styling and vision, furniture products are often abandoned in 20 years or so, which greatly shortens the life cycle of furniture products. Waste furniture is a very valuable part of solid waste and can be recycled. In today's era of promoting circular economy, the recycling of waste wood materials has become an urgent task. Strengthening the recycling of discarded wood materials can reduce the environmental pollution of waste wood, expand the source of raw materials for wood-based panels, and solve the problem of tight supply and demand of timber resources. Therefore, the recycling of this part of resources is as important as the recycling of other urban waste such as used household appliances [1].

1 China's furniture industry background

1.1 Production situation

Since 1978, China's furniture industry has developed very rapidly. It has maintained an average annual growth rate of more than 15% for many years and has now become a new growth point for China's national economy. At present, there are more than 50,000 furniture enterprises in China, with more than 5 million employees. The furniture produced is from all kinds of civilian furniture, office furniture, kitchen furniture to public furniture. The production and processing methods of furniture and the quality of products have been greatly improved. China has become a veritable country in the production, export and consumption of furniture.

1.2 Wood furniture Wood furniture refers to furniture made of wood (bamboo, rattan) and various artificial boards. Wood materials are widely used in the furniture industry because of their irreplaceable characteristics. The wood furniture in discarded furniture accounts for the largest proportion. At present, precious woods widely used in China's furniture industry include rosewood, wenge, teak, merbau, etc. Common woods include ash, birch, eucalyptus, eucalyptus, and eucalyptus. In recent years, as less and less wood can be mined, the production of pure solid wood furniture will be greatly restricted. In the furniture industry, the use of wood-based panels has greatly exceeded that of solid wood. The artificial panels currently used in the production of panel furniture include fiberboard, particleboard, plywood and blockboard, and the laminated timber is also used in the production of solid wood furniture. In addition, bamboo and rattan materials in China are also widely used in furniture production [2], [3].
2 The status quo of recycling of used furniture

2.1 The status of recycling of foreign furniture materials Due to economic, ecological and legislative reasons, the government requires that the recycled old wood materials be processed twice as high-quality secondary raw materials. The annual waste wood produced in Germany is about 8 million tons, which accounts for a considerable proportion of solid waste. In March 2003, a legal document on the recycling of waste wood, the Waste Wood Management Act, was promulgated and implemented, and it is forbidden to land waste wood at will. The Mauro Saviola Group in Italy is a large-scale manufacturer of wood-based panels using urban waste wood. The annual production of particleboard is 1.5 million m3, and all raw materials are waste wood. The United States, France, Japan and other countries have already carried out the recycling of wood waste as early as the 1990s. Japan has already stipulated in relevant laws that waste wood recycling should reach 98% or more before 2010 [4], [5], [6].

2.2 The status of recycling of waste furniture in China The total amount of urban waste generated in China is about 600 million tons per year. The discarded products of various types of wood products mainly based on waste furniture are about 1%, equivalent to 60 million tons, about 8500. Million m3, if it can be used effectively, will be a considerable number. Abandoned furniture is one of the easiest solid wastes to be recycled in municipal waste. It is characterized by its large size, cleanliness and good transportation. Compared with the recycling and recycling of waste wood materials in developed countries, the recycling of waste wood materials mainly based on waste furniture has been relatively small in China for a long time, and most of them are burned or landfilled along with other garbage. In recent years, more and more people have realized the reusability of this part of resources and began to strengthen the recycling of discarded wood materials. Jiangxi Province has built a new wood recycling station in Shangrao City to recycle used wood and process it into various usable wood materials according to market demand. Hefei, Anhui Province has also built a new 300,000-ton wood-plastic new material project, which uses wood and plastic as the main raw materials to make wood-plastic products. In the wood-based panel factory industry, Zhejiang Liren Group set a precedent and cooperated with Shanghai Environmental Sanitation System to collect the waste wood resources of Shanghai in an orderly manner and use this as raw material to produce environmentally-friendly wood-based panels. The first phase of the project has been completed and put into production [7].
3Recycling of waste furniture technology The recycling of waste wood furniture is mainly the recycling and recycling of waste furniture substrates. These wood materials can be used for energy recycling or material recycling of substrates.

Figure 1 Waste wood furniture materials Environmentally sound treatment The energy reuse of discarded furniture means that it is directly burned as industrial fuel or burned with other wastes for boiler or power generation, and can also be used for civil heating. The recycling of waste furniture substrates mainly refers to the recycling of waste wood and artificial boards, or secondary processing, making various artificial boards and reusing them to establish a “resource-product-renewable resource”. The process of repeated circulation causes substantially no or only a small amount of waste to be produced during the entire production and consumption process.

3.1 Direct processing and reuse of the direct processing and reuse of waste wood furniture, mainly refers to the reuse of the well-preserved plates in the waste furniture directly after woodworking machinery processing. For these well-preserved furniture, after removing the hardware and plastic parts, after proper decontamination, missing, repairing, etc., they can be directly used again in the production of furniture. These waste furniture are used to make small and thick The method of thinning is carried out, and the value can be fully realized after the renovation.

Printing blanket unique high pressure microsphere air cushion technology, making blanket more pressure resistant, reducing stronger;Strong stretch cloth base reduces the deformation of the blanket to the minimum, maintaining the stability of the thickness, so that the printing pressure is balanced; The rubber surface with fine polishing of special material makes the ink transfer more fully, the substrate stripping more easily, the dot gets sharp reproduction, the field is flat without ink, the printing quality gets the best play.
